About Nina:
My name is Nina Spade (She/They), and I am a self-taught jewelry designer. I began this enterprise in 2003, conceptualizing artisan and bridal designs. Today, inclusivity, colour, fun, and concept integrity are cardinal principles of my design style.
Expert knowledge of materials and techniques allow for me to expand my beading methods and jewelry design/creation with materials such as gemstones, pearls, glass, resins, wood, genuine Swarovski™ Crystal, and more.
In 2018, a creative partnership with designer Christopher Blackwell was forged, facilitating the creation of custom laser-cut acrylic jewelry designs, as well as SILENCIA Eyewear — a sibling brand to the Nina Spade atelier.
